Layout Principles
The Entertainer follows a simple zoning logic that keeps the flow intuitive:
Zone 1: The Arrival
Near the house, a generous hard surface that can accommodate a table and chairs. This is your main dining area, positioned for easy kitchen access.
Zone 2: The Transition
A change in level or material that signals a shift from formal dining to casual lounging. Built-in benches or a low wall with cushions create relaxed seating.
Zone 3: The Boundary
The garden edges are softened with planting that provides privacy and enclosure without blocking light. Tall grasses, pleached trees, or bamboo create screening.
The key is creating multiple destinations within a small space-so guests naturally spread out and the garden feels larger than it is.
